ERODE: The Kongu Ilaignar Peravai has slammed Union fertiliser minister M K Alagiri for meeting those arrested under various land grab cases. Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, the party???s state organiser and Paramathivelur MLA, U Thaniyarasu, said, ???It does not augur well for a Union minister to meet the accused in land grab cases, even if they are his party members,??? Welcoming the heat against land grabbers, he said the action was being taken as per law to protect people.
